MADRID — Air Europa (UX) operates its inaugural flight from Abu Dhabi to Madrid under a wet lease agreement with Etihad Airways (EY). This is the first time UX operates in the Middle East and is the only nonstop Spanish-operated service on this route at present.
The partnership between the two airlines facilitate travel for passengers by enhancing connectivity to more than 130 destinations through their combined network. Other benefits of the partnership include:

The third-largest Spanish airline after IAG's Iberia (IB) and Vueling (VY) will operate regular twice-daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Madrid with flight EY103. UX operates the flights with Boeing 787-9 aircraft that feature 32 business class and 307 economy seats.
