LAS VEGAS — Allegiant Air (G4) announced yesterday its preliminary passenger traffic results for May 2025, showing notable year-over-year growth across key metrics.
The airline transported approximately 1.55 million scheduled service passengers in May 2025, a 9.2% increase compared to 1.41 million in May 2024. Revenue passenger miles (RPMs) rose by 10.2%, reaching 1.39 billion, while available seat miles (ASMs) expanded by 16.3% to 1.73 billion.
Despite the growth in capacity, G4 reported a load factor of 80.3%, down 4.5 percentage points from the prior year. The carrier also operated 11,174 departures, up 16.2% year-over-year, with an average stage length of 884 miles.
Across its total system, which includes both scheduled service and fixed-fee contract flights, G4 served 1.56 million passengers in May 2025—a 9.4% increase from May 2024. Total system ASMs grew by 16.5%, while departures increased 16.7% year-over-year.
Allegiant continues to demonstrate strong traffic growth, although the lower load factor suggests the airline is adding capacity at a faster pace than demand is currently absorbing.
