EasyJet Suspends Tel Aviv Flights Until October

DALLAS — EasyJet (U2) has decided to suspend flights to Tel Aviv for the next six months due to the recent missile and drone attack by Iran against Israel. The airline cited the "continued evolving situation in Israel" as the reason for halting flights for the remainder of the summer season.

This suspension comes shortly after U2 had resumed flying to Tel Aviv following last year's assault by Hamas on Israel, which led to a war in the Gaza Strip. Customers who have bookings on this route until the specified date are being offered various options, including a full refund.

The tension between Israel and Iran remains high, and there is uncertainty regarding how Israel will respond to the recent attack. Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant has stated that the confrontation with Iran is "not over yet."
