NEW YORK — New York’s Hometown Airline, JetBlue (B6), and the New York Jets introduced a brand new Jets-branded livery at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK).
N746JB, a 17-year-old Airbus A320, named “J! E! T! B! L! U! E!”, was designed after Jets’ 2025 season branding showcasing the team’s latest logos and colors.
“We are so excited to unveil our third livery design with our long-term partner, JetBlue. Seeing this plane—and flying on it—is an opportunity to experience the energy, pride, and passion that define our team. It’s bold, it’s fresh, and it’s ready to carry fans into the 2025 season and beyond,” said Jeff Fernandez, New York Jets SVP, Business Development & Ventures.
New Livery Celebration Event
The new livery was unveiled at a gate-side event at JetBlue's Terminal 5 at JFK Airport, hosted by SNY’s Jeané Coakley.
On a celebration dedicated to the start of the new 2025 season and fresh livery introduction, JetBlue and Jets’ team leaders were joined by tight end Jeremy Ruckert, Quincy Williams, Marty Lyons, and Erik Coleman.
Passengers on the debut flight of the brand-new Jets livery had exclusive photo opportunities and autograph signings with Rucker, Williams, Lyons, and Coleman. Each passenger had a gift bag from Jet with team-branded shirts and hats waiting at their seats.
“JetBlue has always been proud to call New York home, and no team embodies the passion and spirit of this city quite like the New York Jets. This refreshed livery is more than a new design; it’s a symbol of hometown pride. As the Jets take the field this season, this aircraft will take to the skies as a tribute to our shared roots that we’re proud to represent every day,” said Stephanie Evans Greene, Senior Vice President, marketing and brand at JetBlue.
Brand New Livery
“J! E! T! B! L! U! E!” swapped the airline’s blue livery for a Jets traditional green paint scheme featuring white wings and white stripes across the back of the fuselage, inspired by the Jets jersey sleeves.
Aircraft’s belly, engines, tail, and doors all feature Jets logos and branding, making the team visible to both customers and plane spotters, on the ground and in the air.
A Long-time Partnership
JetBlue became the Jets’ Official Airline in 2009, and over the course of more than 15 years of partnership, has expanded to include joint marketing, in-stadium activations, and exclusive promotions.
In 2010, the first special livery was introduced, called “JetGreen,” which became the first sports-themed aircraft to join JetBlue’s fleet, before an updated Jets-themed plane was launched in 2017.
