DALLAS – Air Arabia (G9) will operate flights to an increased number of European destinations this winter.

According to aviationweek.com, the Sharjah International Airport-based (SHJ) low-cost carrier (LCC) is set to launch new services to the Czech Republic, Germany, and Poland from its hub at SHJ. G9 will add flights to Prague (PRG), Munich (MUC), and Warsaw (WMI) to its route network. The addition of these routes will indeed grow the LCC’s European network to 19 destinations for the winter 2025-26 season. 

Services to PRG will commence on December 4. The service will operate four times a week. On December 15, G9 will launch flights to MUC. This route will be served with daily frequencies. This service will be G9’s first destination in Germany, from its hub in SHJ. Then, on December 20, G9 will begin a daily service to Warsaw Modlin (WMI). 

The addition of these routes means that G9 increases capacity on its European routes from SHJ, representing a 19% growth this winter compared to data from 2024–25. Air Arabia already operates scheduled services to various destinations in Europe, including Athens (ATH), Krakow (KRK), Milan Bergamo (BGY), Vienna (VIE), and Warsaw Chopin (WAW). It also offers flights to several destinations in Russia. 

The LCC, which launched operations in October 2003, expanded its African network this year. On January 30, G9 introduced flights to Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa (ADD). The route is operated three times a week, with an Airbus A320 aircraft.

The airline operates scheduled services to over 170 destinations in the Middle East, North Africa, the Indian subcontinent, Central Asia, and Europe.
