MONTREAL — Air Transat (TS) has announced the launch of nonstop flights to Rio De Janeiro (GIG) from Montreal (YUL) and Toronto (YYZ) for the winter season 2025-2026.
Flights from Montreal will be operated on Thursdays, from Toronto on Wednesdays and Saturdays on the airline’s Airbus A330.

Air Transat will fly 14 new routes from Canadian Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City, Charlottetown, Fredericton, and Windsor:

- Quebec City (YQB) – Fort-de-France (FDF), one weekly flight, starting December 14, 2025

- Charlottetown (YYG) – Cancún (CUN), one weekly flight, starting February 18, 2026
