LAS VEGAS — Allegiant Air (G4) will close its bases at Bellingham International Airport (BLI) and Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport (SAV) in November 2026 as part of internal operational adjustments.
The Port of Bellingham confirmed that G4 will continue all existing routes and maintain its current flight schedule after the crew base closure.
In Bellingham, airport officials stated that G4 will adopt a turn-based model, with crews and aircraft operating from other bases without overnight stays. The Port of Bellingham emphasized that this change affects only crew scheduling, and passengers should not experience any changes to routes or service.
In Savannah, Allegiant informed local media it will close its aircraft base effective November 2, citing “changes in seasonal demand patterns and operating conditions.” The airline stated it will continue operating at the station after that date, indicating a reduction in basing rather than a complete market withdrawal.
