MIAMI — Avianca (AV) has signed a sponsorship deal with Miami FC. The airline’s logo will appear on the team’s jerseys all season, helping AV boost its visibility in Miami (MIA) and the wider South Florida area, which are key U.S. markets for the company.
Avianca described the deal as part of its broader focus on sports marketing and connecting with the community. The company also highlighted Miami’s importance as a link between the U.S. and Latin America.
“We are proud to announce our partnership with Miami FC… marked by the unveiling and groundbreaking of its new stadium,” said Rolando Damas, Avianca’s director of sales for North America and Europe, adding that the airline carried more than 4.9 million passengers to and from the United States in 2025.
Nathan Krum, Miami FC’s head of marketing and revenue, said the club is partnering with brands that value community connections as it moves forward with plans for a new stadium and facilities in South Miami-Dade.
