DALLAS — Florida-based Commercial aircraft lessor Azorra has announced the successful acquisition of 49 Embraer E-Jet aircraft and two General Electric CF-34 engines from Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) Ltd. The Azorra has a plan to lease these aircraft to 12 different customers worldwide.
Azorra offers services including leasing, financing, fleet transition, and asset management worldwide. The company is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Seasoned industry veterans manage the company with an average experience of 25 years.
Azorra currently has 125 aircraft and engines, and with this acquisition, the company's portfolio will exceed 225 aircraft, including new Airbus A220 and Embraer E2 orders.
Strategic Significance
This move highlights Azorra's ongoing strategic growth through mergers, acquisitions, and opportunistic portfolio purchases. This strategy follows Azorra's previous acquisition of 48 aircraft from Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC) and Voyager Aviation Holdings.
