MILAN — Delta Air Lines (DL) began offering a nonstop route from Boston’s Logan Airport (BOS) to Milan-Malpensa Airport (MXP) on Friday and will operate four times a week.
Boston travelers on the inaugural flight experienced a gate-side celebratory send-off at BOS, and Airways was at MXP to celebrate the arrival.

The route is part of DL’s largest-ever transatlantic summer schedule, which was announced last year. The airline’s nonstop Boston-Barcelona route, which took off for the first time on Thursday, is offered three times a week.
Delta provides more than 160 peak-day departures to 63 destinations at BOS, including 13 international cities.

Last month, Delta announced it would resume daily nonstop service between Boston and St. Thomas this holiday season after a three-year pause. The service will run between Dec. 20 and Jan. 5, 2026.
