DALLAS — Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) will expand its global connections in May 2026 with the introduction of a new nonstop service to Amman (AMM), Jordan, operated by Royal Jordanian (RJ). The flight will be the first direct link between Jordan and North Texas, making DFW an even more crucial international gateway.
The new service will be year-round, four weekly, on the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner with 270 seats. The route not only provides a direct connection to Amman, one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities, but also provides onward access to destinations in the region across the Levant through RJ's expanding network.
Strengthening Partnerships, Alliances
Royal Jordanian is also a member of the oneworld® alliance, which includes some of the carriers already operating at DFW. This addition provides seamless one-stop connectivity for customers flying beyond Amman, offering additional options and convenient transfers within the global alliance network.
DFW's Chief Executive Officer, Chris McLaughlin, highlighted the significance of the launch, referring to it as "another exciting step in expanding our global network." For DFW, the route reflects the airport's growing demand for Middle Eastern services and its role in uniting business, cultural, and leisure travelers between Jordan and the United States.
The addition of nonstop service to Amman expands DFW's roster of foreign markets and provides strategic access to a key Middle East cultural and economic center.
