DUBAI — Together, Emirates (EK) and flyDubai (FZ) have seen passenger numbers increase in the last year.
The EK and FZ partnership exemplifies industry-leading airline collaboration, rewarding travelers through closer cooperation and enhanced connectivity. In fact, both airlines carried more than 5 million passengers on codeshare flights in the past year. This represents a 10% increase over the previous year.
Together, the Dubai-based (DXB) airlines connect travelers across an extensive global network while rewarding Skywards members through a joint loyalty program. From streamlined check-in and baggage transfers to optimized schedules and Terminal 3 access in DXB, every touchpoint is designed for seamless travel.

Expansive Route Network
The partnership unlocks a combined network of 245 destinations in 103 countries. That said, since 2017, more than 22 million customers have travelled across the joint network of both carriers.
Emirates customers can explore an additional 103 flydubai destinations, while FZ passengers can access 107 Emirates destinations.
The latest exciting destinations to join Emirates’ network in 2025 include Hangzhou (HGH), Shenzhen (SZX), Siem Reap (SAI), and Da Nang (DAD). New FZ destinations launched include Chișinău (RMO), Iasi (IAS), Vilnius (VNO), Riga (RIX), and Nairobi (NBO).
Mega Fleet
The airlines operate flights from and to DXB with a combined fleet of 363 aircraft. EK's fleet of 267 widebody aircraft comprises A380, Boeing 777, and A350 aircraft, while FZ utilizes its 96 Boeing 737 aircraft for its operations.
Dubai’s aviation sector will continue to play a key role in achieving the goals set out in the D33 Economic Agenda, including reaching a combined network of 400 destinations from Dubai, and both EK and FZ are committed to achieving this target.
