BOSTON — JetBlue (B6) continues its rapid transatlantic expansion yesterday with the launch of new nonstop seasonal service from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to Madrid, Spain (MAD), and Edinburgh, Scotland (EDI).
These additions mark B6’s sixth and seventh European destinations from Boston and reflect its commitment to strengthening its presence in New England while broadening its East Coast-to-Europe network.
The new routes, operating daily through October 25, 2025, give travelers direct access to two of Europe’s most culturally rich capitals. The Boston–Madrid route also marks B6’s inaugural service to Spain.
“With our deep Boston roots, we’re excited to be putting more of Europe within reach for New England travelers with JetBlue’s low fares, great service, and the convenience of flying right from Logan,” said Daniel Shurz, JetBlue’s Senior Vice President of Revenue, Network, and Enterprise Planning.
Flight Schedules
Boston–Madrid: A First for JetBlue
JetBlue becomes the only U.S. airline to offer nonstop service between Boston and Spain’s capital.
The overnight flight (BOS–MAD: 10:25 p.m. – 11:30 a.m.; MAD–BOS: 1:30 p.m. – 3:24 p.m.) positions travelers to enjoy everything from Madrid’s royal architecture and buzzing plazas to its world-class museums and culinary delights.
Boston–Edinburgh: A Gateway to Scotland’s Charm
The Boston–Edinburgh route complements B6’s popular seasonal service from New York JFK and opens another gateway to the U.K. (BOS–EDI: 10:30 p.m. – 10:10 a.m.; EDI–BOS: 12:10 p.m. – 2:22 p.m.).
A Growing European Footprint
The new services form part of JetBlue’s JetForward strategy, which aims to build a leading East Coast leisure network.
Including these new routes, B6 now offers seven transatlantic destinations from Boston, including seasonal service to Amsterdam, Dublin, and London-Gatwick and year-round flights to London-Heathrow and Paris.
“Our partnership with JetBlue continues to grow stronger,” said Ed Freni, Executive Director of Aviation at Massport. “This expanded connectivity makes it easier for travelers to explore some of Europe’s most iconic cities while strengthening Boston’s position as a premier international gateway.”
