JEDDAH — Saudia (SV) has signed a Special Prorate Agreement (SPA) with Myanmar Airways International (8M).
Saudi Arabia's flag carrier, SV, has announced a new SPA with Myanmar's privately owned airline, Myanmar Airways International.
Travelers can benefit from coordinated itineraries across both airlines' networks, offering a streamlined booking process across SV and 8M. The RGN-based carrier operates scheduled services to destinations mainly in Southeast Asia.
Expanded reach for Saudia
The partnership expands SV's reach into Myanmar and strengthens its connectivity in Southeast Asia. This therefore caters to the growing passenger demand for travel between the two markets.
The agreement will expand travel options between Saudi Arabia and Myanmar and enable travelers to travel on a single itinerary between Jeddah (JED) or Madinah (MED) and Yangon (RGN), with connections via key regional hubs including Bangkok (BKK), Singapore (SIN), Kuala Lumpur (KUL), and Dubai (DXB).
Saudia serves more than 100 destinations across four continents and continues to expand its global network through new routes and strategic partnerships. These efforts support SV's mission of bringing the world to Saudi Arabia while enhancing travel options for guests.
