Japan Airlines, IndiGo Sign Codeshare Agreement

DALLAS – Japan Airlines (JL) and IndiGo (6E) entered into a codeshare agreement on the second day of the 80th IATA Annual General Meeting. The cooperation will allow JL to expand its network in India to 14 domestic destinations with the help of the India's arguably most important low-cost carrier (LCC).

Japan’s national carrier flies daily to the Indian capital, New Delhi (DEL), and weekly thrice to Mumbai (BOM).

Through the new agreement, JL can now establish its network in major Indian cities such as Mumbai (BOM), Chennai (MAA), Hyderabad (HYD), Kolkata (CCU), Ahmedabad (AMD), Amritsar (ATQ), Kochi (COK), Coimbatore (CJB), Thiruvananthapuram (TRV), Tiruchirappalli (TRZ), Pune (PNQ), Lucknow (LKO), Varanasi (VNS), and Goa (GOX, GOI).
