TOKYO — ANA All Nippon Airways (NH) launches free high-speed internet onboard its widebody aircraft for all classes.
In cooperation with U.S. company, Viasat, the Nipponese airline will offer passengers a smooth and fast connection onboard the airline's widebody aircraft, capable of video streaming and a ground-like internet experience in the air.
"As ANA's passengers increasingly value staying connected in-flight with high-speed Wi-Fi, especially on international routes, we are honored to support ANA in offering free, streaming in-flight internet on Viasat-equipped aircraft. Fast In-Flight Connection on Widebody Fleet
Starting with JA625A, NHs Boeing 767-300ER aircraft with a 202-seat configuration, 43 jets in NH’s fleet to be equipped with Viasat internet:
- six Boeing 767-300ER aircraft by 2026
- 18 Boeing 777-9 aircraft starting from 2026
- 19 Boeing 787-9 aircraft beginning in 2026

By 2030, the airline aims for over 80% of its international fleet to be equipped with free high-speed internet.
