DALLAS — Uzbekistan-based Centrum Air is set to receive its first new Airbus A321neo, which will feature a slightly revised livery.
MY FREIGHTER (C6) offers charter flights and passenger services under the Centrum Air brand. The aircraft, registered as UK32131 (msn 11996), will be operated by C6, a cargo carrier based in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. C6 operates internationally from its main hub at Tashkent Islam Karimov International Airport (TAS).
The A321neo was recently photographed by aviation photojournalist Dirk Grothe at Airbus Hamburg during RTO (Rejected Takeoff) tests, a critical procedure before the aircraft’s first flight.
RTO Test
An aircraft must stop during the takeoff roll in a difficult certification trial known as a rejected takeoff (RTO) test. The test is run under the most challenging circumstances imaginable, including no thrust reversers, maximum takeoff weight, and completely worn brakes.
If the choice is made before the aircraft reaches the "V" critical speed, the objective is to safely reject the takeoff. A successful RTO necessitates responding right away and adhering to guidelines.
The largest Airbus facility in Germany and the center of operations for Airbus Commercial Aircraft, Hamburg is essential to the creation and production of every Airbus aircraft. As a result, the Airbus location next to Hamburg-Finkenwerder Airport is now the third-largest site globally for the civil aviation sector.
According to Airbus, the Hamburg-Finkenwerder industrial facility is responsible for more than half of Airbus’ annual A320 Family output.
