DENVER — Frontier Airlines (F9) announced the addition of four new routes set to launch this spring, increasing nonstop destinations from the airline’s existing airports.
The first of its new routes will begin on May 5, connecting Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) and Newark (EWR) daily. On May 21, F9 will connect Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) with Santa Ana (SNA) and Dulles (IAD) with Fort Lauderdale (FLL), both on a 4x weekly basis. The carrier will also launch a Las Vegas (LAS) to Nashville (BNA) route on June 11, operating 4x weekly.
“We are very pleased to announce these new routes, offering more low-cost service across the U.S. just in time for the summer travel season,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design, Frontier Airlines. “With this new service, consumers will enjoy Frontier’s signature convenience and affordability as they travel to California, Texas, Tennessee, Washington, D.C., or any of the other exciting destinations served by America’s Low Fare Airline.”
New onboard products for the ULCC carrier
Low-cost carriers in the United States have introduced changes to their onboard products and fare structures over the past several years, and F9 is no different. The airline has introduced UpFront Plus seats in the first two rows of the aircraft, offering extra leg and elbow room, and is preparing to launch First Class seating later in 2026.
The airline aims to combine its trademark affordable fares with more space and comfort in its new seats up front.
