JetBlue to Open Its First Airport Lounge at New York JFK

NEW YORK JetBlue (B6) will open its first dedicated airport lounge, BlueHouse, at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) Terminal 5 on December 18, 2025. The project is part of the airline’s broader JetForward strategy, which focuses on upgrading the customer experience on the ground and in the air.

A New Lounge Concept at Terminal 5

BlueHouse spans 9,000 square feet across two floors and introduces a residential, New York–inspired design to the terminal. The space includes open seating, quiet work areas, and spaces for travelers to unwind before departure. High-speed Wi-Fi and power outlets are available throughout, keeping the lounge functional for business and leisure passengers.

Artwork curated by local groups adds nods to JetBlue’s New York roots, including a mural featuring the airline’s destinations in the style of Grand Central Terminal’s ceiling.

Food and Beverage Offerings

Guests will have access to fresh grab-and-go food options prepared daily by Union Square Events. Morning items include bacon-egg-and-cheese sandwiches, while daytime options feature simple New York-style staples such as pastrami on rye or chicken Caesar wraps.

On the beverage side, B6 has partnered with several New York vendors. Offerings include coffee from Joe Coffee, teas and specialty drinks from local suppliers, and a selection of beers, wines, and cocktails from The Greats of Craft and Please Don’t Tell.

Amenities Inside BlueHouse

The lounge includes:

 • Open seating areas for working or relaxing
• Quiet zones for travelers who prefer a low-noise environment
• A game room with cards, board games, and children’s activities
• A photo booth for passengers who want a printed keepsake

The layout is designed to support different types of travelers without crowding or long queues.

Access and Eligibility

Complimentary access begins on December 18 for:

 • Mosaic 4 members (with one guest)
• JetBlue Premier Cardmembers (with one guest)
• Transatlantic Mint customers

Starting February 2026, specific JetBlue loyalty tiers and cardholders will be able to purchase limited-access passes. Customers traveling on Blue Basic fares will not be eligible for complimentary entry or paid access.

Future Expansion

BlueHouse at JFK is the first of JetBlue’s planned series of lounges. The airline is in the middle of a multi-year refresh of Terminal 5, which includes more than 40 new retail additions and expanded passenger amenities. A second BlueHouse lounge is scheduled to open at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) Terminal C in 2026.

BlueHouse marks JetBlue’s formal entry into the airport lounge space as the airline continues to strengthen its position in New York and other key markets.
