LONDON — London Stansted Airport (STN) is set to see its route network expand in 2026, as airlines introduce a range of new services from the Essex hub. The additions mark another step in the airport’s ongoing network expansion, with both leisure and connectivity-focused routes being added.
One of the first additions to the schedule will come early in the year, strengthening the airport’s long-haul connectivity.
Starting 5 March, easyJet (U2) is set to begin services from Paris Charles de Gaulle. Next, Turkish Airlines (TK) will launch up to 15 weekly services from Istanbul from 18 March, unlocking access to its extensive global network of more than 353 destinations.
The Ireland-based low-cost carrier Ryanair (FR) will then introduce twice-weekly flights to Malmö, Sweden, from 1 April. Jet2.com (LS) follows with new routes to Jerez, Spain, from 1 May; Samos, Greece, from 7 May; and La Palma, the Canary Islands, from 26 October.
BA CityFlyer (CJ) will begin flights to Olbia in Sardinia from 23 May, while TUI (TOM) is also set to launch services to Kos from 7 May. Finally, AJet (VF) plans to begin flights to Bodrum, Turkey, in June.
