British Airways to Launch Airbus A380 Service to Vancouver
MIAMI — British Airways has announced the introduction of its Airbus A380 service to Vancouver, marking the first A380 scheduled service for the western Canada city. The daily flight will run as BA84/85, as per AirlineRoute, starting as of May 1:BA085 LHR 1715 – 1840 YVR
BA084 YVR 2050 – 1400+1 LHRThe announcement not only represents a much needed capacity boost the busy summer season, but also is a product upgrade for Vancouver, a popular Canadian destination . It is also noteworthy to mention that now all four Canadian cities served by British Airways will have the latest aircraft in the fleet, with Toronto, Montreal and Calgary operating the 787 Dreamliner. Vancouver will become the fourth destination in North America to receive British Airways A380, which currently flies to Los Angeles, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, Singapore and from Miami beginning in October.British Airways A380 fleet feature seating for 469 passengers, including 14 First Class Suites, 97 World Class (business class) seats, 55 World Traveller Plus (premium economy) and 303 World Traveller (economy class) seats.“We’re excited that our British Airways customers in Vancouver and the Pacific Northwest will be able to experience the newest addition to our fleet, with spacious cabins and extensive entertainment options.
