Computer Issues Grounded all United Airlines Flights in the U.S.
MIAMI — The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) through the Air Traffic Control System Command Center (ATCSS) has informed that a system-wide computer outage has caused the grounding of all United Airlines flights in the United States this morning.About 3,500 flights were being affected. Delays reached 235 domestic and 138 international destinations served by United Airlines.At 09:47 EST, the FAA issued a second ATCSCC advisory, informing that the grounding has been halted as the automation issue was resolved. However, travelers can expect delays as the effects of this situation replicate through the air traffic control system.United Airlines has released a statement via twitter, blaming the delays to an unspecified "network connectivity issue."

The airline experienced similar issues last month, when a temporary ground stop on June 2 affected its operations.
