Air France Goes All in with Las Vegas Route

PARIS — French flag carrier Air France (AF) has announced plans to introduce Las Vegas' Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) to its network from its hub at Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG) starting next spring.

The new flight will begin on April 15, 2026, and run seasonally during the summer until October. It will run thrice weekly on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays with the airline’s Airbus A350-900, of which they currently have 39, another two on order, and 47 more on the books within the Air France-KLM group.

AF56 departs Paris at 13:40, arriving 11 hours later at LAS at 15:35. After a nearly 2 and a half hour turnaround, AF57 will depart back east at 17:50, arriving back at CDG the next day at 13:05.

Las Vegas is the 19th U.S. destination served by Air France thus far, the 26th in North America.

Other Additions

Air France also announced this week some last-minute additions to its winter schedule, including 3 times weekly services to Phuket (HKT) and Punta Cana (PUJ). The two flights begin on November 27 and January 13, respectively, and will be operated by Boeing 777-300ERs.

In the same announcement, the carrier highlighted strengthening of existing routes, including Orlando (MCO), which was inaugurated this summer and will continue through the winter, as well as upping Raleigh-Durham (RDU), Cancun (CUN), and Papeete (PPT, via LAX) from 5 weekly services to daily flights.

Other notable boosts include San José, Costa Rica (SJO), from 7 to 10 weekly, Zanzibar (ZNZ) from 3 to 5 weekly, and Dubai (DXB), from 14 to 16 weekly. Additionally, Cape Town (CPT) and Bangkok (BKK) will operate daily and twice daily, respectively. Meanwhile, Riyadh (RUH), which was inaugurated this summer, will continue to operate three times a week through the winter.

Alongside all the network news, the airline also said that the new La Première is continuing its rollout and is now available on flights to New York (JFK), Singapore (SIN), and Los Angeles (LAX). It will be coming soon to Miami (MIA) and Tokyo-Haneda (HND).

In addition, 30% of AF’s fleet has now been equipped with new high-speed WiFi. The carrier expects the entire fleet to be complete by the end of next year.
