DALLAS — Alaska Airlines (AS) will operate year-round flights to London (LHR) from next year.
The Seattle-based airline will offer new nonstop flights between Seattle (SEA) and LHR from May 21 2026. The service will be operated with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft.
The route will be operated daily. Passengers can look forward to a new onboard experience, including lie-flat seats, enclosed suites and multi-course dining in Business Class.
Network Growth
London Heathrow will become the airline's fifth intercontinental destination. AS is indeed growing it route network from its SEA hub.
With rising demand from travellers, the airline is adding a number of Europe routes.
Alaska Airlines will begin seasonal direct flights from SEA to Rome (FCO) starting April 28, 2026. This will be a daily nonstop service, also operated with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
The SEA-based carrier will also introduce a non-stop service from SEA to Reykjavik (KEF) in Iceland from May 2026. This will be a seasonal service which continues until September 7, 2026.
