DALLAS — American Airlines (AA) is rolling out 15 new routes for summer 2026, leaning into small- and mid-size markets while reinforcing connectivity through key hubs—especially Chicago O’Hare (ORD) and Phoenix (PHX).
The airline highlights more than 500 daily ORD departures next summer, continued hub growth to 180+ destinations, and expanded seasonal flying (including extending some winter routes into summer).
A headline move is the launch of service to Lincoln, Nebraska (LNK)—American’s 240th U.S. destination—positioned as a new one-stop gateway to American’s global network.
