DALLAS — IndiGo (6E) and KLM (KL)have expanded their codeshare agreement, improving connectivity between India, Europe, and the UK.
The deal allows 6E to place its code on KL flights to 30 destinations across Europe and the United Kingdom, via Amsterdam (AMS). That said, 6E now offers flights between Mumbai (BOM) and AMS. It recently commenced nonstop services on this route using a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, which is dry-leased from Norse Atlantic Airlines (N0).
“At IndiGo, we are committed to offering seamless global connectivity to our customers as part of our ambitious internationalisation strategy. We are delighted to deepen our partnership with KLM, providing our customers with greater convenience when traveling across Europe and the UK through Schiphol Airport, one of the biggest European hubs,” IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers said.
The CEO added, “We are confident that our customers will value and benefit from the seamless connectivity offered through the vast combined networks of IndiGo and KLM. This collaboration aligns with our vision of giving wings to the nation and fostering more opportunities for boosting trade and tourism between India, Europe, and the rest of the world.”

Expanding an Existing Partnership
This expansion builds upon the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between 6E, Delta Air Lines (DL), Air France-KLM (AF-KL), and Virgin Atlantic (VS), which was signed during the 81st IATA AGM in June 2025.
The airline group announced an industry-leading partnership to offer seamless connectivity options across North America, the UK, Europe, India, and beyond, which will not only help meet the rising demand for international travel but also make travel more convenient and hassle-free.
“We are pleased to take the next step in our collaboration with IndiGo by expanding our codeshare agreement. This allows travelers easier connections between India and Europe, including the UK, via our hub in Amsterdam, and gives IndiGo customers access to the extensive network KLM has to offer. This expansion further strengthens the ties between our regions and connects people and opportunities across continents, offering them more choice and flexibility.” KLM CEO Marjan Rintel said.
In 2022, 6E and KL finalized a codeshare partnership providing KL customers with access to 24 destinations on IndiGo’s network. Through the extended cooperation, IndiGo will be able to expand its reach to 30 destinations across Europe and the UK, including Paris (PAR), Berlin (BER), Geneva (GVA), Madrid (MAD, Brussels (BRU), London (LON), Helsinki (HEL), Oslo (OSL), Prague (PRG), and Stockholm (STO).
