NEW YORK — I’ve got a soft spot for Fort Lauderdale (FLL)—it was my previous base—so it’s hard not to read this as more than just a network tweak. JetBlue (B6) is doubling down on FLL with new daily service to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) and additional frequencies on nine existing routes, pushing more connecting depth across the U.S. and the Caribbean ahead of peak summer demand.
JetBlue says the Cleveland launch brings its recent FLL buildout to 21 new cities and nearly 32 additional daily departures over the past year, reinforcing its position as the airport’s largest carrier by departures.
What’s changing
- New route: FLL–CLE launches daily on July 8, 2026 (northbound), with FLL–CLE flight 1590 and CLE–FLL flight 2289 shown in JetBlue’s published schedule.
- Frequency increases (effective July 8–9, 2026): ATL, AUA, EWR, JAX, LAS, ORF, PHL, SDQ, SXM all see higher frequencies, with several markets stepping up to 2x–4x daily.
- Promo: TrueBlue members booking the new FLL–CLE route by March 29, 2026 are eligible for 2,500 bonus points (per JetBlue’s terms).
