‍AMSTERDAM — KLM (KL) will launch three new European destinations at the start of the 2026 summer season.

The Amsterdam-based (AMS) airline will offer flights to the British Channel Island of Jersey (JER), as well as Santiago de Compostela (SCQ) and Oviedo (OVD) in Spain. 

With these routes, KL opens up new possibilities for regional destinations across Europe, offering flights for nature lovers. 

Oviedo: Spain

Oviedo, a city in the Spanish region of Asturias, is often referred to as the gateway to northwest Spain. Services will launch on March 29, 2026. KLM Cityhopper will operate the route on an Embraer 190.

Flights will operate to the following schedule: 

• KL1557 Departs Amsterdam at 14:10, arriving in Oviedo at 16:20 (local time)
• KL1558 Departs Oviedo at 16:50, arriving in Amsterdam at 18:55 (local time) 

Frequency:

• March 29 – July 3, 2026, Saturdays and Sundays
• July 4 – August 30, 2026, Daily
• August 31 – October 24, 2026, Saturdays and Sundays 

Jersey: Channel Islands

As the largest of the Channel Islands, Jersey is also known as the "Island of Flowers." Services will commence on April 4, 2026. The route will be operated by KLM Cityhopper, using an Embraer 190 or Embraer 175 aircraft.  

Flights will operate according to the following schedule:

• KL1097 Departs Amsterdam at 12:05, arriving in Jersey at 12:25 (local time)
• KL1098 Departs Jersey at 12:55, arriving in Amsterdam at 15:20 (local time)

• April 4 – July 3, 2026, Saturdays only
• July 4 – August 30, 2026, Daily
• August 31 – October 24, 2026, Saturdays only 

Santiago de Compostela: Spain

Santiago de Compostela is the gateway to the Galicia region in northwest Spain. Services will begin on May 30, 2026. The route will be operated by KLM Cityhopper, using an Embraer 190 or Embraer 175 aircraft.

Flights will operate according to the following flight schedule: 

• KL1565 Departs Amsterdam at 13:45, arriving in Santiago de Compostela at 16:10 (local time)
• KL1566 Departs Santiago de Compostela at 16:40, arriving in Amsterdam at 19:05 (local time)
