Lufthansa Group Launches Winter 2025/26 Schedule

FRANKFURT The Lufthansa Group, comprised of Lufthansa (LH), Austrian Airlines (OS), SWISS (LX), Brussels Airlines (SN), Eurowings (EW), Discover Airlines (4Y), and ITA Airways (AZ), has made its winter 2025/26 flight schedule public, effective October 26, 2025. 

All the routes are now open for reservation, with reliability and punctuality, especially during the peak demand Christmas season, highlighted by the Group.

Lufthansa Boosts Long-Haul Network with Allegris Cabins

Lufthansa is further expanding its long-haul offerings from Munich by introducing aircraft fitted with the new Allegris cabin daily to New York (JFK and EWR), Chicago, Miami, Shanghai, Cape Town, and Tokyo, and adding a thrice-weekly route to Bengaluru, India. 

This represents the most Allegris-fitted routes running at one time. 10 Airbus A350-900s fitted with Allegris are in operation, with passenger satisfaction rates near 100 percent. Frankfurt is next in line to receive Allegri’s service through the Boeing 787-9 and retrofitted Boeing 747-8 aircraft.

Continued Service to New European Destinations, A380 Flights

High demand will sustain LH's new flights from Frankfurt to Bydgoszcz (Poland) and Munich to Oradea (Romania), which were initially launched in summer 2025. 

The airline also reaffirmed that its winter A380 routes from Munich would feature Los Angeles, San Francisco, Bangkok, and Delhi, indicating the plane's continued popularity with passengers and crew.

Austrian Airlines Increases Innsbruck, Vienna Connectivity

Austrian Airlines is upgrading regional and long-haul links this winter. Amsterdam joins Brussels, Warsaw, and Copenhagen as Innsbruck's fourth destination. 

From Vienna, services to Bangkok will rise to a maximum of two daily. In addition, all Milan flights will transfer from Malpensa to a more central airport, Linate, courtesy of slot purchases from AZ, which became part of the Lufthansa Group this year.

SWISS Expands Eastern European, Long-Haul Operations

SWISS is adding a service to Kraków and extending flights from Zurich to Cluj-Napoca (Romania), Košice (Slovakia), and Washington D.C.. 

Geneva operations will be centered on greater links to the UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia, specifically for winter sports tourists bound for Swiss resorts.

Brussels Airlines Expands African Network

Brussels Airlines is further cementing its African presence with extra weekly flights from Brussels to Lomé (Togo), Dakar (Senegal), Conakry (Guinea), Monrovia (Liberia), Accra (Ghana), and Freetown (Sierra Leone). This further entrenches it as the Lufthansa Group's "Africa expert" by designation.

Eurowings Introduces Long-Haul Flight Routes from Berlin, Hanover, Stuttgart

Germany's largest holiday airline, Eurowings, is launching nonstop flights from Berlin to Abu Dhabi from November 2025. Its Berlin-to-Dubai service will increase to as many as eleven flights a week. 

Other long-haul additions are direct Hanover-Dubai and Stuttgart-Jeddah flights in Saudi Arabia. To expand its Egypt program, the carrier is also adding Egypt flights from Cologne, Hamburg, and Berlin.

Discover Airlines Launches Seychelles, Other Exotic Destinations

Discover Airlines is entering the Seychelles market for the first time with flights directly from Frankfurt—a brand-new route for the Lufthansa Group. From Munich, it introduces the sole direct flight to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

Discover also introduces Alta, Norway, as part of its Frankfurt winter schedule for those who want unusual Arctic holidays.
