T’way Air Enters North America With Vancouver Route

DALLAS — South Korea's T'way Air (TW) is introducing its first North American service later this summer, with the launch of its Seoul Incheon (ICN) to Vancouver (YVR) service on July 12, 2025. The new route aligns with TW's growth in long-haul ambitions and efforts to make global air travel more affordable.

The year-round service will fly four times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Flights from ICN depart at 9:05 p.m. local time and arrive in YVR at 3:25 p.m. Pacific. Flights return from Vancouver at 5:25 p.m. and arrive in Seoul the following day at 9:35 p.m. TW will utilize its Airbus A330-300 on the route.

Cabin Product, Onboard Service

The A330 has 12 flat beds in TW's Business Saver class, with more legroom, personal power outlets, and reading lights.

All passengers will be served complimentary in-flight meals, two for Business Saver and one for Economy, to enhance the onboard experience on long-haul flights.

Strategic Importance

The introduction is a milestone in TW's foreign strategy, offering one-stop, low-fare service between South Korea and Canada's west coast. The service targets increased demand from leisure and business travelers, in particular in an underserved market for low-cost carriers.

"Launching our premiere North American route is sensible, and it is also inevitable," T'wayAir CEO Hong-Geun Jeong said. He indicated his company's determination to strengthen international connections. "With the launch of this service, limits on tourism, business, and cultural exchanges between South Korea and Canada are lifted. We are dedicated to offering travelers a memorable journey that's both safe and reliable."
