HONG KONG — Cathay Pacific (CX) is adding more flights to Europe this month to meet demand in response to the unrest in the Middle East. This, as the US-Israeli War with Iran continues to impact flight plans worldwide.
The Hong Kong-based airline is adding eight more passenger flights to the schedule, as bookings to London have increased. These extra flights between Hong Kong and England's capital will be available on March 21, 23, 26, and 28. The airline is also adding more seating to its flights to Zurich for the month.
Cathay Pacific Cancellations
Cathay Pacific is removing its daily passenger and regular freight flights to Dubai and Riyadh from its schedule, also by the end of the month. Passengers scheduled on these flights can change or cancel.
Airline officials say other changes may occur as the war continues, stating, "The safety of our customers and people guides every decision we make." For more flight information, visit cathay.com.
Cathay Pacific is one of four airlines offered by the Cathay Group. Its headquarters are in Hong Kong, and it offers flights to more than 200 destinations worldwide.
The other airlines offered by the Cathay Group are Cathay Lifestyle, Cathay Cargo, and HK Express.
