NEW YORK — After the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) ordered a ground stop on all JetBlue (B6) flights on behalf of the airline, flights are to resume as normal after the airline cancelled its request for the ground stop.
The stop lasted for 40 minutes before the cancellation request went through. In a statement issued by the airline, they said: “A brief system outage has been resolved, and we have resumed operations.” The airline did not provide additional information on the reasoning for the ground stop.
With the ground stop in effect, no flights could take off, but any flights already in the air could continue.
