TOULOUSE — AerCap has placed a firm order for 100 Airbus A320neo-family aircraft, comprising 23 A320neo and 77 A321neo. Airbus described this as AerCap’s largest single direct order for the type.
This order follows White Plains, New York-based Atlas Air Worldwide’s (5Y) recent commitment for 20 Airbus A350F freighters, with options for 20 additional units. Atlas is now Airbus’ largest A350F customer, highlighting Airbus’ increasing momentum in both cargo and passenger markets.
Delivery Timeline and Order Details
According to Reuters, AerCap’s A320neo-family deliveries will begin in 2028 and continue through 2034. The order exercises 45 options from a previous agreement and adds 55 new aircraft to AerCap’s orderbook.
